3M Perfect it III Extra Fine Compound 1L
3M Extra Fine compound is a fine finish compound designed specifically for modern scratch resistant clear coat paint systems. Also excellent as a single compound/polish product for standard 2 pack paint systems. Used in conjunction with two accessories – a wool buff giving high cut rate followed by a foam pad for excellent finish.
A less aggressive compound than Fast Cut + Compound 50417, this fine finish compound is ideal for removing medium swirl marks, defects and light scratches prior to final polishing.

How to use:
For best results using a dual action polisher:
3M Extra Fine compound should be applied using the corresponding 3M yellow Polishing Pad. Apply 3-4 small drops of the compound directly onto the pad and work in with your fingers. Then work the polish into an area of about 16” x 16”. When using a dual action polisher you should set it to around 4000-5000 orbits per minute on most polishers this is setting 4-5. Work the polish in until only a thin film remains and then buff off using a Detailing Towel or soft microfiber.
For Best Results using a Rotary Polisher:
3M Extra Fine compound should be applied using the corresponding 3M Yellow Polishing Pad. Apply 1-2 small drops of the product directly onto the pad and work in with fingers. Then work the polish into an area of about 16” x 16”. When using a Rotary Polisher you should set it to around 1500-2000 revolutions per minute on most polishers this is setting 3-4. Work the polish in until only a thin film remains and then buff off using a Detailing Towel or soft microfiber.
Once the above process has been completed the Paintwork should be further refined by using 3M Ultrafina SE. The paintwork should then be protected using a Carnauba wax, Glaze or similar sealant.
